Requests for public information must be submitted in writing via mail, email, fax, or in person to the Harris County Auditor’s Office for public information maintained by this office, detailing exactly what information is being requested. Requests for information maintained by another Harris County office or entity should generally be submitted directly to that other particular office/entity.
Each written request must include contact names, phone number(s), email address, and indicate which preference they have as to contacting them, if necessary.
